Administration will make the decision as to school closing no later than 6:30 A.M.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2014:
Today is the photo upload deadline for the October 25 ACT.
End of the 1st Quarter.  
Jr. High Basketball Game w/T.A.:  6:00pm.   Seniors have Concession Stand.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2014:
Marching Eagles to the UCM Homecoming Parade. Bus leaves at 5AM. Parade at 9AM.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2014:
Fall Book Fair:   7:45 am to 5:00 pm
Secondary Faculty Meeting at 7:50am in the FACS room.
Cross Country at Salisbury.
Peer Helper meeting during Ac Lab to discuss Red Ribbon Week.
Jr. High Cheerleading Practice:  3:30-5:00pm.
Jr. High Basketball Game w/Novinger:  6:00pm.    Juniors have Concession Stand.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2014:
Elementary Faculty Meeting:  7:30am in the Book Room.
FCCLA Regional Meeting at Kirksville.  Bus will leave at 7:30am and return by 7th period.  Bring money for lunch.
Fall Book Fair:   7:45 am to 5:00 pm
FFA Officer Meeting:  3:30pm.
Jr. High Basketball Game at Bevier:  6:00pm.   Bus will leave at 4:45pm.  Shoot around at 4:15pm.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2014:

Parent/Teacher Conferences:  2:00pm – 5:00pm    5:30-7:00pm.  (All obligations must be taken care of before your child/children will receive their grade card).
During Parent/Teacher Conferences, the Meadville Art Department is going to have a Fall Art Show. Come enjoy artworks from our students that will be displayed throughout the hallways. Signs will be posted as to where specific grade levels will be displayed. Looking forward to seeing you!

ANNOUNCEMENTS, BREAKFAST & LUNCH MENU

Congratulations to the Meadville Eagles Cross Country Team for braving the rain and the mud to win 4th place at the Centralia Invitational

Red Ribbon Week will be October 27-31, 2014.

Picture re-take day will be October 27th starting at 10:00 with 4 year old preschool/re-takes, followed by Junior High Basketball, Junior High Cheerleading and Senior group photo. If you have any questions about orders please call Keithly Photography at 660-385-2403.

Sophomores: Our first concession stand will be Wednesday, October 29. Please sign up on the bulletin board for a shift and also for dessert

Mrs. Russell, 4th grade teacher is in need of 20-40 large paper grocery sacks for a science project.

Students in grades 5-12 who have participated in community service activities in the last year can apply for the Prudential Spirit of Community Award Program.  For more information or to apply, visit spirit.prudential.com/promotion by November 4, 2014.

Seniors:  The Hagan Scholarship is now available and must be submitted by November 15, 2014.  This scholarship is open to anyone with a 3.5 or higher GPA, a composite score of 23 on the ACT, and works at least 240 hours during the summer.  Applicants are required to fill out the 2014 FAFSA prior to November 15 & have an Expected Family Contribution of less than $7,500.  Applications may be found online at www.hsfmo.org

Yearbooks are now on sale for the 2014-2015 school year. From now until January 1st, 2015 the price will be $35 and $40 after the deadline. If you would like to order a yearbook please see Scott Singleton, Karen Surber, or order online at www.meadvillemoeagles.org .
